half of the Town of Boynton, be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and enter into with Florida Power &
Light Company tho said Letter Agreement approved in Section 1
hereof, and hereinafter set forth in form as follows:

This relates to that certain Municipal Street Light-
ing Agreement between us dated March 2, 1926, and all Supple-
mentary and Supplemental Agreements thereto.
In view of tho fact that you are in need of more
street lighting, wo hereby agree, at your request, that as
of the 15 day of D~cember, 1936, we will restore to
active service under the Said Municipal Street Lighting
Agreement, and Supplementary and' Supplementzl Agreements there-
to, six (8) Overhead BraCket Type 100 candlepower Street lights,
which are more particularly described as to number, candlopower,
typo, location, ownership and burning schodulo, in the schedule
attached hereto, marked Exhibit ~&~, and made a part hereof.
We will bill you and you will pay us, in accordance with
the said Streot Lighting Agreement, and Supplementary and Supple-
mental Agreements thereto, for the said street lig%mts hereinabove
restored to service.
In order to enable the Town'of Boynton to enjoy addi-
tional street lightir~ service at no additional cost to the
we will, as of the ~5 day of December, 1936, restore to a0tive
service one (1) 100 candlepower Overhead Bracket Type street
light and two (2) 100 candlepower W~VJG Type street lights~ and
theroafter serve the same in accordance with tho said Municipal
Street Lightir~ Agreement, Supplementary and Supplemental Agree-
merits thereto, for a period a~f time endir~ ten (10) years from
January l, 19~; however, the Town will not be obligated to ~ay
the Company anythir~ whatsoever for the additional street lights
restored to service in accordauce '~

lights restored to service pursuant to'this paragraph are
described as to number, candlepower, type, location, owner-
ship ar~ burning schedule in the schedule attached hereto,
marked Exhibit "B", and made a part hereof~ and shall not be
considered additional street lights under the~ said Municipal
Street Lightir~ Agreement, or street lights restored to ser-
vieeun~der the said Supplementary and Supplemental Agreements
thereto.
it is ~rther understood and agree~ that, except as
expressly provided herein, the said ~nicipal Street Lighti~
Agreement dated the End day of March, 19~6', together with the
said Supplementary and Supplemental ~Ereemente thereto, shall
remain in full force and effect between us.

Gentlemen:-
In connection with the sale of'Lot No. 8,
Block 3, Bowers Park, a subdivision of the Town Of
Boynton,'Florida, I desire to settle the taxes on said
property. .

Upon examining the Tax Assessment Roll of the
Boynton, Florida, I find the following taxes due

Section 2, of Article VIII, RKVENUE AND TA2L~TION,
of C~pter 8918, Special Acts of the Legislature of Florida,
19~3, which is the Charter of the Town of Boynton, Florida,
states:-
"The Com~ission may ma~e its own assessments Of property for
taxation, but the valuation of property by the mumic[pality
shall not exceed its mS. rket value. All property, real and
~e~eonal in said Town of Boynton n0t expressly exempt by the
laws of the State, shall be subject to taxation for the pur-
poses mentioned in this charter. It shall not be necessary
to describe personal property assesse~ for t~xation, .and the
term "personal ~roperty" sbmll be sufficient descriptmon to
sustain any listing and assessment of the personal property
of any person, firm or corporation.~
The above mentioned property~ was recent2y s01d f~r the sum of
NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($900.00), thereby establishing its mar-
ket value.
In view of the above facts, may i suggest that the
assessed value on Lot No. 8, Block 3, Bowers Park, be adjusted
to $750.00, agter which adjustment' the t~xes due the Town of
Boynton on this property would be as follows:-

Upon Motion made by Commissioner Bowen, secbnded by
Commissioner Stevens and unanimously carried, the Tax Collector
was authorized and directed to accept settlement of taxes as
outlined in Mr. 8omerville's letter.
Upon Motion made by Commissioner Bowen, secor~ed by
Commissioner Stevens and unanimously carried, the Treasurer was
instructed to draw a check in tb_e sum of On~ Hundred Fifty ($1~0.00
Dollars in favor of Newman T. Miller as expenses in connection with
Mr. Somerville and Palm Beach Company's Mandsmus suits~ charg-
ir~ said amount to the Interest & Sinking Ftumd.
A discussion was had with reference to the proposed
sale of Town owned lots in Boynton Heights Subdivision to Mr.
M. E. ~nite: the matter beir~ tabled for further consideration.
