A Special Meeting of the Board of Town Commissioners,
of the Town of Boynton, Florida, was held at the To~n Hall on
Friday mornlng, December 18,
PRESENT:
1936 at !0:00 e~clock &. M.
H.D. Stevens, Mayor,
N.N. ~eems, Vice Mayor.
J. P. Bowen, Town Clerk.
The above constitutirg the entire Board of Town Com-
missioners of the Town of Boynton, Florida.
Mayor Stevens stated that this meeting was called for
the purpose of considering the verbal request of a Mr. Jack C.
Roberts of the Roberts Fair Company, Tampa, Florida, to hold a
"County Fair~ in Boynton, and my other business that might come
before the Commission.
After considerable discussion congernir~ the request of
the Roberts Fair Company~ Com~issioner Stevens agreed to write
Mr. Roberts, advising him to pu~ his proposition in writing for
the further consideration of the Commission.
& discussion was had with reference to the advisability
of continuir~ the employment of a Motorcycle patrolman, Com-
missioner ~eems made a Mo~ion that the Motorcycle Patrolman be
relieved of his duties for two weeks, and that Zoll Eayberry be
instructed to watch the traffic light durlr~ that period in ad-
dit_on to his other duties, in order to study more fully the
traffic problem. This Motion was seconded by Commissioner
~owen and duly carried.
It was mutually agreed to fix Zoll Mayberry's salary at
per month begirnaing Dece~oer 16, 1936, temporarily with hours
from Noon to Midnight daily.
There being no further business to come before the
Commission the meeting adjourned.
