A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY~ CLERK TO EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH AND THE TOWN OF BRINY BREEZES, TO
PROVIDE FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL/RESCUE
SERVICES IN T~E TOWN OF BRINY BREEZES; A
COPY OF SAID AGREEMENT BEING ATTACHED
HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach
deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and
Florida, to enter into an
residents of the City of Boynton Beach,
Intert6cal Agreemen~ with the Town of Briny Breezes, providing
for emergency medical/rescue services and advanced life support
(ALS) transport within the municipal limits of the Town of Briny
Breezes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY cOMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an Interlocai Agreement
between the City of Boynton Beach, Florida and the Town of Briny
Breezes, providing for emergency medical/rescue services and
advanced life support (ALS) transport within the municipal limits
of the Town of Briny Breezes, which agreement is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A".
S~ction 2. This Resolution shall take effect
upon passage.
