~N ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COI~ISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ~IENDING PART
II, CHAPTER Z, ~tTICLE V, SECTION Z-?$ OF THE
BOYNTON BEACH CODE OF QRDINANCES TO REFLECT
CURRENT CODIFICATION ~D SET FORTH THE
JURISDICTION OF THE CODE ENFORCEI~NT BOARD;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVEI~%BILITY,
CODIFICATION ANDANEFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida has determined that it is in the best interests of the
citizens and residents of the City to amend the Code of Ordinances
to reflect the jurisdiction of the code enforcement board; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Commission in enacting this
Ordinance to specifically override the previous codification
regarding code enforcement board jUrisdiction.
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT=
Section 1. Section 2-75 of Part II, Chapter 2, Article V
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2-75 Jurisdiction of Board.
The code enforcement boards shall enforce and have
jurisdiction of the following codes:

fire codes, Chapter 9 licenses, Chapter 13 as well as part
III, Land Development Regulations Dlannina and development

.... ~-~- ~ ~ ~ ~A ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ....... Chapter 2;
planned unit developments, Chapter 2.5: community desian Dlan.
Chapter 9; building, housing, and construction, Chapter 20;
e~~ signs, Chapter 21; parking lots, Chapter 23; and
related technical codes in force in the city.
Section 2. Each and every other provision of Chapter 2 not
herein specifically amended shall remain in full force and effect
as previously enacted.
Section 3. Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or portion hereof, any Paragraph, sentence or word be
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such
decision shall not affect the remainder of this ordinance.
