R19-077 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A PROPOSED MUNICIPAL MILLAGE RATE FOR GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET PURPOSES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020, STATING A ROLLED -BACK RATE, AND SETTING FORTH THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF THE FIRST PUBLIC HEARING; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(2)(b) it is the responsibility of the Municipality's governing body to advise the Property Appraiser of its, proposed millage rate, rolled- back millage rate, and the date, time and place of the first public hearing at which the proposed millage rate and tentative budget will be considered. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The above referenced whereas clauses are incorporated herein by reference. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby sets a proposed millage rate of 7.9000 which has been computed to fund the General Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2019-20. The rolled -back rate is 7.5418. Section 3. 'rhe City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby sets September 5, 2019 at 6:30 P.M., at Intracoastal Park Clubhouse, 2240 N. Federal Highway, as the date, time and place of the first public hearing to consider the proposed millage rate and the tentative budget. Section 4.
