Re: Liens on property located at 115 N.E. 13th Avenue
Dear Mr. Hawkins,
The above referenced property is currently under contract for sale between Regina A. Gilliespie,
Sellgr, and Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County, Inc., Buyer. I am representing
both parties as a Transaction Broker.
The title search of this property revealed two (2) liens: 1. A Code Enforcement Board lien, Case #8%2020, dated March 21, 1988;
2. City of Boynton Beach for demolition of the previous unsafe structure, dated
July 30, 1992.
The Seller purchased this property in November of 1994 through a Tax Sale Certificate and was
una,,~are of these two (2) liens on the property. She purchased the property for $15,196.23 and
has agreed to sell it for a lesser amount because the Buyer is Habitat for Humanity.
On ~ehalf of both parties, I am requesting relief fi'om these liens, so that Habitat for Humanity
ca~ proceed with the purchase of this land for one of their homes. My understanding is that the
lief for demolition cannot be addressed through Code Compliance, so am requesting your
ass ~tance in dismissing this lien.
I am also requesting, through Scott Blasie, that the Code Enforcemem Lien be placed before the
Cod~ Compliance Board for dismissal.
