O74-14ORDINANCE NO. 74-14 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON~EACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING THE INTEN~IO~ OF S~tD ~CITY TOEXTEND ITS MUNICIPAL TERRiTOR~L LIMITS BY THE ~NNE~TIoN~ 0F~A CERTAIN UNiNcORPORATeD TRACT OF~ LAND CONTAINING LESS THAN TEN REGISTERE~'VOTERS, LYING CONTIGUOUS THERETO ~ND WITHIN PA~ BEACH TO WIT: THREE ~TOWNSHIP 45 SOUTH MO IN , AN AND FOR Kq~EREAS, the owner of the property more particularly described hereinafter has heretofore petitioned the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, requesting the annexation of certain property lying adjacent and contiguous to the terri- torial limits of said municipality and within the s~e County to the municipal territorial limits of said City; and W~iEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten registered voters; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, deems the annexation of said land to be beneficial to and in the best interests of the said City and the owner of said land that said land be annexed and included within the municipal territorial limits of said City; NOW, ~EREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section t: That the City Council of the City of Boynton ~ach, Florida, hereby declares its intention to annex the parcel of land more particularly described in the attached Exhibi~ A, H and Q which are hereby made a part hereof, to the municipal terri- torial limits of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, at uhe expiration of thirty days from the passage of this Ordinance. Section 2: That the City Clerk shall proceed with publica- tion of notice o~ adoption of this Ordinance in accordance with the Charter of the City in such cases made and provided. .~ectlon 3. Repeatin9 Provisions: Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4: Sepa_rabil'ity: Should any section or provision of %his ordinance or any portion hereof7 be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid. Section 5: Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective in the manner and at the time provided by the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida.
