WHEREAS, the Owner of the property more par~ricular y described hereinafter
has heretofore petiti,~ed th~ ~ityCou~cil of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, reeuesting the annexation of certai~ property lying adjacent and
contiguous to the territorial limits of said municipality and within the same
to the municipal territorial limits of saic City; and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than~ ten ~istered voters; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, deems the
annexation, of said la~d to be beneficial to and in th~ best interests of the
said City and the owner of said land that said land be annexed and included
w~thin the municipal territorial timits of said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section l: Tha~ the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
hereby declares its intention to annex t~e ~
parcel of land more particularly
described in the attached Exhibit A, which is here~y made a part hereof, to
the municipal territorial limits of the City of 9oynton Beach, Florida, at the
expiration of thirl~/ days from the passage of this Ordinance.
Section 2: That the City Clerk shall proceed ~h publication of notice
of adoption of this Ordinance in accordance with~J~ Charter of the City in
such cases made and provided,
S~eection3: R__epealing Provisions: All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
S~ection 4: ~: Should any section or provision of thls
Drdinance or any portion hereof, be declared by a Court ef competent juris-
diction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validil~ of the
remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared
to be invalid.
