A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACHr FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN ADDENDUM TO THE
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH AND THE CHILDREN'S SERVICES
COUNCIL OF PALM BEACH COUNTY REGARDING
THE AFTER SCHOOL LATCHKEY RECREATION
PROGRAM; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the parties have entered into that certain
greement, dated October 1, 1991, whereby the Children's Services
2ouncil of Palm Beach County (Council) agreed to provide, on s
~eimburs~ent basis, funding for certain services to be furnished
the City of Boynton Beach (Provider); and
WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of establishing s cut-off
)eriod ~r p~yments under the Agreement; and
WHEREAS~ the City Commission, upon recommendation of staff,
~ems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and
~sidents of the City of Boynton Beach, to execute the Addendum
the Contracu with the Children Services Council of Palm Beach
~ounty.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
~ITY OFBOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby authorizes and
[irects the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Addendum to the
iontraCt between the City of Boynton Beach and the Children
~ervices Council of Palm Beach County.
Section 2.

This Resolution shall take effect immediately

ADDENDUM TO CONTRACT
THIS ADDENDUM is entered into this 22nd day of July, 1992 by
and between the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County,
a political subdivision of the State of Florida (the "Council ")
and City of Boynton Beach Recreation & Parks Department - After
Schopl Latchkey Recreation Program ( "Provider ").
WHEREAS, the parties have entered into that certain Agreement
dated October 1, 1991 (the "Agreement ") whereby the Council
agreed to provide, on a reimbursement basis, funding for certain
services to be furnished by Provider; and
WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of establishing a cut -off
period for payments under the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Provider is agreeable to modifying the Agreement
accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and
covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct.
2. The Agreement is hereby amended by adding the following
language at the end of paragraph 13:
Provider shall submit a final invoice to the
Council no later than October 31, 1992 (with
appropriate documentation). The Council will
not reimburse Provider for any expenditures
made by Provider under this Agreement that
are submitted after October 31, 1992.
3. In all other respects, the Agreement shall remain in
full force and effect. In the event of any inconsistency between
the terms of the Agreement and the terms of this Addendum, this
Addendum shall control.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Addendum to
be executed by their undersigned duly authorized officers.
