RESOLUTION NO. R 00- 6/
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
THE AWARD OF A BID (NO. 048-2511-00/KR) FOR
A TWO YEAR LEASE CONTRACT FOR 24' X 60'
PORTABLE OFFICE TRAILER TO VISION BUILDING
SOLUTIONS L.L.C., IN THE AMOUNT OF $21,997.92,
PROVIDING FOR TEMPORARY RELOCATION OF
CODE COMPLlANCE~ AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT~
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Code Compliance is currently located in the West Wing
of City Hall and needs to be relocated in order to provide space for the
expansion of engineering services for the City~ and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on April 6, 2000, by the Procurement
Services Division and it was determined that Vision Building Solutions L.L.C.
was the most complete and responsive bidder who met and exceeded
all specifications~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,. FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, hereby approves the award of a bid for a two year lease contract
for 24' x 60' portable office trailer to Vision Building Solutions L.L.C. and
authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Contract between the
City of Boynton Beach and Vision Building Solutions L.L.C, a copy of which
is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately.
