M, Presetn: The above ~eeting of tlme Board of Town of Bo~uaton, Florida, F~iday evening, March 25, H.' T. Holloway~ ~ayor Frank Nutting, Vice ~ayor J. P. Bo.~n, To~m Clerk ~ons~_tuting the entire Board of ~o~m Commie sioner s. The meeting was called considering adjustments of Special to transact any other business that before the Commission. The request of Dr. N. Special Assessments on Lot for the purpose of Assessraen~ s and might come M. Weens to have the I~ Block 2, Shepard & Funk Addition (being ~!ang Street paving assessment #22-11) am~ Lot 10, Block 2, Meeks and Andrews Addition (being Central Ave ~aving assessn~nt #3-22) reduced 50% in accordance with the provision of Ordinance #1i8~ was presented. After a lengthy discussion, made a motion that the above mentioned assessmenzs pl~s accrued interest be reduced fifty percent and that'the Treasurer, Tax Collector be and he is hereby instructed to accept Town of Boynton past due Interest Cuupons a~ par in payment thereof. This motion was seconded by Co~missioner Bowen, Co~.~mis sioner Nuttin~ amd unanimously carried. Conmmissioner Ho!loway made a motion that in the future ~a~ only past due bonds or past due coupons be accepted in payment of taxes or Special Assessments and that in acceptLug Bonds or Coupons in payment of Special Assessmentsthat only those bonds issued for that Assessment be aceepted~ This motion was seconded by Co~m~issioner Bowen and ~-uanimou sly carried. Commissioner Holloway made a motion that tb~ Tax Collector be authorized and instructed and he is hereby authorized and instructed to issue receipted Tax Bills for l~$1 Town va×es to ~r~; ~iary Blank, for the amoun5 ~ ~5, Z0, Section t~, Lots 11 and 1~, Casa Loma, Section ~7, of ~7.09, and Oscar Krebs for Lots 2~ and $!, Block ~, ~. S. Shepard's S/D, in the amoun5 of $Z5.0~ ~ud to charge the same against their respective credits due on ac count of motion was carried. Special Assessments paid in full. This seconded by Commissioner Bowe~ and unanimously Tb~ Treasurer read a letter from Mr. M. J. Faherty, requesting that the Commission allow him to use money due him~ on acco~ut of Special Assessment credit to pay his water bill. After some discussion the Treasurer~ w~s instructed to write ~_~. Faherty that since it was nov clea~ as to whether the Town of Boynton or the Town of Bo~nton Beach would be required to pay this~ in money, that they could not take any action To grant his request until such time as tb_e Court ruled on the matter. The Tressurer was instructed to make out a chock to Claude Moss, Seerovary of tho Fire Department for the Firemen's payroll instead of making individual cheeks To the fir~men as has been done in the cast. Mr. W. 0. Wim~ was oresent and submitted his annual audit report for tho fiscal year ending, October Z1, 1931. Ur. Winn presented his bill for ~98.00 for special audit work of accruing interest on Special Assessments. After some discussion Co~%%issioner Nutting made a motion that the bill be paid in full with the umderstanding that ~r. Wim~awouldmake gne transfer to the Eastside when the division was settled. This motion was secc~_ded by Coma~ssioner Bowen and duly carried. ?ne Sreasurer was inst~_cted to letter from American S~ety Company, cancellation of Gee .... Long~s bond, J. H.
