R20-008 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, y FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE 2019 REPETITIVE LOSS M AREA ANALYSIS (RLAA) DOCUMENT WHICH WILL ALLOW THE CITY RESIDENTS TO CONTINUE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A DISCOUNT ON FLOOD INSURANCE '� PREMIUMS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 1i 1 WHEREAS, the Repetitive Loss Area Analysis is a tool that communities can use 1 ' to address its most costly flooding issues which includes an analysis of the repetitive loss 1 : areas with a description of every building, a statement of the problem in each area and 1 11 recommendations to mitigate the problem; and g 1 WHEREAS, the specific recommendations given in this report represent 1 1 ; concrete steps the City, the affected communities, the local drainage districts and the 1 '' property owners can take to mitigate flooding in each of the repetitive loss areas in the 1 : City; and 1 i WHEREAS, This item was approved by the City Commission at the December 2I 3, 2019 City Commission meeting on consent agenda; however the Community Rating 2 System program administrator, the Insurance Services Office (ISO), requires a City 2Commission resolution adopting of the RLAA. 2:I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION 2 i' OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,FLORIDA,THAT: 2 I Section 1.
