AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING AN ENGINEERING AND
UTILITIES DEBARTMENT AND DESIGNATING THE
CITY ENGINEER AS THE ADMINISTRATOR OF SAID
DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR AUTHORITY TO
CODIFY, SAVINGS CLAUSE, REPEALING PROVISIONS,
AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OT~ER PURPOSES.
~r~{EREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary and advisable to establish an
Engineering and Utilities Department and to designate the
City Engineer as Administrator of said department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEA~, FLORIDA:
Sect.ion 1: An Engineering and Utilities Department is
hereby established, and the City
Administrator of the Department.
Section 2: AUTHORITY TO CODIFY:
Engineer is hereby designated

Section 3: SEPARABILITY: Each

Sec_tion 4: REPEALIN~G PROVISIONS: All ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided by law.
