AN ORD//qANCH OF THE CITY OF BOY'TON BEACH,
FLORIDA, A~ENDING THE MUNICIPAL CPIARTER OF
SAID CITY BY REPEALING SECTION 63 OF ARTICLE
IV OF SAID CHARTER~ TI~EREBY PROVIDING FOR
THE kBQLISHMENT OF THE POSITION OF SUPERIN-
TENDENT ~OF I~UBLIC WORKS AND UTILITIES, AS
AUTHORIZED UNDER ~PTER 166 OF T~E FLORIDA
WHEREAS~ pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 166 of the
Florida Statutes~ entitled "Municipal Home Rule Powers Act"~
the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, deems
it necessary and adv'isable for the efficient daily operation
of the municipal government to repeal S~ctlibn 63 of Article IV
of the City's municipal Charter and to %hereby abolish the
position of Superintendent of Public Works and Utilities;
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTOlq
Section 1:
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That Section 63 of Article IV' of the municipal
Charter of the City of Boynton Beach,
repealed in its entirety.
