AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF T~tE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF
SAID CITY BY A~4ENDING THE I~LrLEs AND REGULATIONS AS
TO THE PLACEMENT OF PARKING PERMITS AND BY PROVIDING
FOR SPECIFIC PARIf]~G-AREAS FOR CERTAIN VEHICLES;
PROVIDING FOR AUTHORITY TO CODIFY, SAVINGS CLAUSE ,
REPEALING PROViSiONS,',T AN EFFECTIVE DATE ~AND FOR
.OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS~ the City Council df the City of Boynto~ Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary and advisable to provide for addi-
tional regulations as to the placement of parking permits upon
moto~ vehicles parking at the public beach of said City and to
provide for specific parking areas for certain motor vehicles;
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section ~: Section 19-38.1 of Chapter 19 of the Codified
Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach,
hereby amended by amending subparagraph
entitled, "PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF
as follows:

Section 2: Section 19-38.1 of Chapter 19 of the Codified
Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and is
hereby further amended by adding the following subsection
entitled~ "PARKING AREAS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES"~ which additional
subsection shall read as follows:
"PARKING AREAS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
(1) Ail motor vehicles included or described in and
as 'Class 1' hereinab~ve may park anywhere within the parking
area at the public beach.
(2) All motor vehicles other than the vehicles
included or described in or as 'Class 1' hereinabove shall park
only on the lower level of the parking area at the public beach."
Section 3: AUTHORITY TO CODIFY: Specific authority is
hereby granted to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in the
City's existing Code~
Section 4: SEPARABILITY: Each of the provisions of this
Ordinance are separable, including word, clause, phrase or
sentence, and if any portion thereof shall be declared invalid,
the remaining portion shall not be ~affected but shall remain in
full force and effect.
Section 5: REPEALING PROVISIONS: All ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 6: AN EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided in the Charter
and Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida.
