FICATION AS TO FEDERAL RElrF/FdE SPARING FONDS;
PROVIDING FOR AUTHOR_ITY TO CODIFY, SAVINGS CLAUSE,
EEP~ING PigDVISIONS, AN EFFECTIVE DATE A~uD FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, has heretofore adopted Ordinance No. 73-15 to provide
for ~ne expenditure of ten percent of all Federal ~e~enue Shar-
ing Funds received under the State and Local Fiscal Assistance
Act of 1972, and the City Council deems it advisable to clarify
its intention in said ordinance~
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. Section i of Ordin~uce No. 73-15 of the City of Boynton
Beach~ Florida, ~e and is hereby amended to read as follows:
~Section!l: That ten percent of ~ll Federal Revenue
Sharing Fu=nds under the State ~ud Local Fiscal Assistance Act
of 19~ (Title I~ Public Law 92~512) heretofore and hereafter
received by the City of Boynton Beach, Florida~ shall be
expended for the ordinary and necessary m~intenance and oper~
ating expenses for social services for the poor or aged
residents of the City of Boynton Beach~ Florida, upon the
approval of the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florid~ as hereinafter provided.~'
2. That each reference to ~'Revenue Sharing Funds~' in
Ordinance No. T3-15 is intended ~o refer to all Federal Revenue
Sharing Funds received under the State a~nd Local Fiscal Assist-
~nce Act of 1972 (Title i~ ~ablie Law 92-512).
