AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA
ADDING SECTION 5 TO ORDINANCE NO. 7~-2 PROVIDING
PENALTY FOR NON-COMPLIANCE THEREOF; PROVIDING FOR
AUTHOgITY TO COBIFY, SAVINGS CLAUSE, REPEALING
PROVISIONS, AN EFFECTIVE DAT~/N~R OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
has deemed it necessary and ad~zi~able to establish and appoint a
Community &ppearanee Board for the reasons set forth in Ordinance
73-2, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council is now desirous of esta-
blishing a penalty for violation of said Ordinance; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CODNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, as folIows:
Section 1: Ordinance 73-2 of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 5: Penalty: The Chairman of the Community Ap-
pearance~Board shall designate two (2) Representatives from the
Board to implement this Ordinance. Any person, firm or corporation
who violates, disobeys, omits, meglects or refuses to comply with
or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this
Ordinance, the Certificate of Occupancy shall be withheld until
such time as the alleged violations are discharged.
..S. ectiom 6: An Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be-
come effective in the manner and at the time provided in the
Charter and Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida':
