A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
THE PROPOSAL OF ADT SECURITY SERVICES, INC.,
FOR EMERGENCY PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION
OF ADDITIONAL SECURITY FOR THE DOORS IN
CITY HALL AND THE EAST WING, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $12,045.00; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID PROPOSAL, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTtVE DJZTE.
WHEREAS, on November 16, 1999, the City Commission approved the
security system for the doors in City Hall and the East Wing; and after
review by staff, it has been determined that this security system needs to be
expanded; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it to be in the best interests of the
citizens and community to approve the proposal of ADT Security Services, Inc. for the
and installation of additional security to mach the existing system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
%ITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
hereby approves the proposal of PROPOSAL OF ADT Security Services, Inc., for emergency
of additional security for the doors in City Hall and the East Wing, in the mount
and authorizing the mayor and city clerk to execute said proposal, a copy of
which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately.
