A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORDA, APPROVING
rilE AWARD OF A THREE YEAR BID (NO. 009-2110-
02/KR/ FOR SEVEN VEIrllCLES TO SATURN OF
DELRAY, IN THE ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $23,951.76;
AUTHORJ;EING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
CONTRACT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Procurement Services received and opened Bids for the above
mentioned project .on October 30, 2001, and it was determ/ned that Saturn of Delray
Beach was the most responsive bidder Who met and exceeded all specifications;
NOW, I~HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CI~ COMMISSION
)F Tl-l~ CITYOF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
ereby approves the award of a three year bid for the lease of seven vehicles for use in the
Police D~artment by the Citizens on Patrol (C.O.P.) group in the annual mount of
$23,95t.76, subject to budget appropriations, and authorizes the Mayor to execute a
Lease Agreement between the parties, a sample copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A".
Section 2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 40 _ day of November, 2001.
