A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
ENDORSING THE CANDIDACY OF THE HONORABLE
CLARENCE E~ ~NTHONY~ MAYOR OF SOUTH BAY,
FLORIDA FOR THE OFFICE OF SECOND
VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE FLORIDA LEAGUE OF
CITIES.
WHEREAS, Clarence E. Anthony has served as Mayor for
~he City of South Bay for the past eight years; and
WHEREAS, Clarence E. Anthony has long been involved in
lumerous leadership positions in the Palm Beach County
~unicipal League, National League of Cities, and the Florida
~eague of Cities; and
WHEREAS, Clarence E. Anthony is currently serving on the
~oard of Directors and Executive Committee for the Florida
~eague of Cities and has served more than four years; and
WHEREAS~ Clarence E. Anthony is a candidate for the office
)f Second Vice-President for the Florida League of Cities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
)F THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of
~oynton Beach, Florida, strongly supports the candidacy of
:larence E. Anthony for the office of Second Vice-President
)f the Florida League of Cities (FLC). Mr. Anthony's
