A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY C05~4IS$ION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
URGING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION TO INSTALL TRAFFIC
SIGNALIZATION DEVICES AT THE
INTERSECTION OF BOYNTON BEACH BOULEVARD
AND INDUSTRIAL AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR
ACTION BY THE CLERK; AND, PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach has determined that it is in the best interests of the
citizens o~ Boynton Beach and of those individuals
traversing the streets and highways of Boynton Beach that
traffic siqnalization devices be installed at the
intersection of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Industrial
Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, all previous requests to the Florida
Department of Transportation by the City's Administrative
Staff have been rejected or remain unprocessed,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of
Boynton Beach strongly urges the Florida Department of
Transportation to install traffic signalization devices
at the intersection of Boynton Beach Boulevard and
Industrial Avenue and to implement the installation as
soon as possible.
