A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING STAFF TO APPLY
FOR THE CHILDREN SERVICES COUNC~IL GRANT
(RECREATION, ATHLETICS AND POLICE
PROGRAM) FOR THE 1992-93 FISCAL YEAR;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Childrens Services Council has announced
~he availability of grant funds for the fiscal year 1992-93;
~nd
WHHREAS~ the short term goal of this program is to
remove as many children as possible from the street
~nvironment and involve the children in various recreational
~rograms; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission supports the proposed
~rogram and is desirous of obtaining grant funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO~L~I$$ION
THE CIT~ OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of
~oynton Beach, Florida, strongly supports the request for
)rant assistance and authorizes staff to prepare and submit
~he appropriate application and all supporting
~ocumentation.
Section 2. The City
~oynton Beach, Florida, hereby
~he application form and any

Commission of the City of
authorizes the Mayor to sign
other documentation required
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
