A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ~AYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO
THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH AND PAL~ BEACH COUNTY
WHICH WAS EXECUTED ON JANUARY 8, 1991,
REGARDING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT; SAID AMENDMENT BEING
ATTACF~D HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, upo~ recommendati0n of Staff, deems it to be in the b~st
interests of the citizens and residents of th~ City of Boynton
Beach to exeCUte an'amendment to the agreemen~ with Palm Beach
County, 8, 199I, with regard to the Community
providing for a nominal extension of
time for delivs~-y of a complete set of development plans for the
approval of HCD and the City.
NOW BY THE CITYCOMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF THAT:
Section i. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Flori~, does hereby authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute a cer~tain amendment to the agreement between the City of
Boynton Beac~ 3and Palm Beach County, a copy of said amendment
being attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section~2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.

AMENDMENT 001 TO THE AGREEMENT
WITH
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH
Amendment 001 entered into this day of ,
1992, by and between Palm Beach County and the City of
Boynton Beach.
WHEREAS,
WI TNESSETH:
Palm Beach County entered into an agreement
with the City of Boynton Beach Beach executed on January 8,
1991, and approved by Document #91-36D, to provide $80,000 in
Community Development Block Grant funds for the design of
comprehensive street improvements; and
WHEREAS, final approval of the design drawings and
specifications was delayed beyond the September 30, 1991,
expiration of the enabling agreement; and
WHEREAS, both part~es mutually agree that the original
agreement as entered into on January 8, 1991, is hereby
amended as follows:
I. Under Part III - Compensation, Time of Performance,
Method and Conditions of Payment:
A. Section 1, third sentence, substitute "February
28, 1992" for "September 30, 1991."
Section 2,

NOW, THEREFORE, all items in the previous agreement in
conflict with the amendment shall be and are hereby changed
to conform to this amendment.
Amendment 001 - City of Boynton Beach
Ail provisions not in conflict with this aforementioned
amendment are still in effect and shall be performed at
same level as specified in ~he Agreement.

amendments to tke agreememt ~atween the City of Boyntom Beach, Florida and
Gee &Jenson Consulting Engineers. This agreement provides a mominal time
extension to Gee & Jenson Consulting Engineers for delivery of a complete set of
development plans which meets with the approval of HCD and the City, including
associated bid/contract documents.

be directed to review the amendment for legal sufficiency.
