A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
PROHIBITING THE EXPENDITURE OF CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH FUNDS IN CONNECTION WITH
ANY FACILITY WHICH DOES NOT AFFORD FULL
MEMBERSHIP TO ANY PERSON BECAUSE OF
RACE, COLOR, NATIONAL ORIGIN, RELIGION,
ANCESTRY, SEX, AGE, MARITAL STATUS,
SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR DISABILITY AND
PROHIBITING CITY ACTIVITY IN SUCH
FACILITIES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been deemed by the City Commission of
.he City of ~Boynton Beach, Florida to be in the best
interests of t~e citizens and residents of the City of
Boynton Beach t6 adopt the above policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ~Y THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYN~ON BEACH, FLORIDA.
Section 1. That the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
shall ~no---6~--~on-~uct business, nor shall the City of Boynton
Beach appropriate any funds in connection with-any facility
which does not afford full membership to any person because
of race, color, national origin, religion, ancestry, sex,
age, marital status, sexual orientation, or disability.
Section 2. That the City of Boynton Beach shall not
mppropriate any funds to any public or private organization
which conducts any events, or holds any of its meetings at
any facility Which does not afford full membership because
of race, color,national origin, religion, ancestry, sex,
age, marital status, sexual orientation, or disability.
Section 3. That this Resoiution shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
