AN APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,
1972 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1973.
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Boynton Beach,
requires an appropriations ordinance be passed by the City Countil of
said Municipality each year, adopting a budget showing revenue of the
City from all sources and the estimated expenditures to the various
purposes for the ensuing fisgal year:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAII~ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1: That the p~oposed budget for the ensuing fiscal year
previously prepared by the City Manager now on file in the City Hall of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby adopted for the
fiscal year of said Municipality beginning October 1, 1972 and ending
September 30, 1973, pursuant to and in compliance with the previsions of
Section 28 and Section 84 of the City Charter of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, said budget being made a part hereof by reference:
Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$~, 365, 121.00 to the General Fund for the payment of operating expenses
and necessary capital outlay for the City government pursuant to the terms
of the above budget.
Section 3: Thai there is hereby appropriated the sum of $7, 713. (
to the Interest and Sinking Fu~id for general debt service for the purpose of
payfiag the interest, principal and reserve due on the general obligation
bonds of the City not subject to statutory exemptions and for redeeming
such bonds as they mature.
Section 4: That takere is hereby appropriated the sum of
$1, 299, 198.00 to the Water Utilily Fund and Sewer Utility Fund for
operating expenses and necessary capital outlay for the municipal water
and sewer departments.
Section 5: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$608, 359.00 to the Interest and Sinking Fund of the combined municipal
~vater and sewer departmenls for the general debt service £or the purpose
of paying interest due on the bonds of said departments and for redeeming
such bonds as they mature, and for payment of outstanding developer's
refunding agreements.
Section 6: Thai there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$16, 200. 00 to the Community Promotion Fund for the paymenl of operating
expense pursuant to the terras of the above budget.
Section 7: That this Ordinance shall become effective from
and a£ter its passage in accordance with the Charter of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida, in such case made and provided.
