O71-30Ot~DINANCE NO. 71-~, AN APPR-OPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAi~ BEGINNING OCTOBER 1 , 1971 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1972. WHEREAS, the CITY CI-L~RTER of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, requires an appropriations ordinance be passed by the City Council of said municipality each year, adopting a budget showing revenue of the City from all sources and the estimated expenditares to the various purposes for the ensuing fiscal year: I~OW THEi~EFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLOi~IDA, as follows: SECTION 1: That the proposed budget for the ensuiug fiscal year previously prepared by the City Manager now on file in the City Hall of the City of Boynton Beach,Florida, be and the same is hereby adopted for the fiscal year of said municipality beginning October 1, 197l and endLug September 30, 1972, pursuant to and in compliance with the provisions of Section 28 and Section 84 of the City Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, said budget being made a part hereof by reference: SECTION Z: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $2,358,223. 00 to the General Fund for the payment of operating expenses and necessary capital outlay for the City government pursuant to the terms of the above budget. SECTION 3: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $18,313.00 to the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt service for the purposes of paying the interest due on the general obligation bonds of the City not sub- ject to statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they mature. SECTIOI~- 4: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $710, 754. 00 to the Water Utility Fund and Sewer Utility Fund ~6r operating expenses and necessary capital outlay for the municipal water and sewer departments. Page 1 of 2 Pages SECTION 5: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $zi49,246.00 to the Interest and Sinking Fund of the combined municipal water and sewer departments for the general debt service for the purpose of paying interest due on the bonds of said departments and for redeeming such bonds as they mature, and for payment of outsUanding developer's re~nding agreements. SECTION 6: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $I7~07,8.0'0 tothe Community tOromotion Fund for the payment of operating expense pursuant go the terms of the above budget. SECTION 7: That this ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the Charter of the City of Bo.vnton Beach, Florida in such case made and provided.
