3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
4 FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FY 2020-21 BUDGET,
5 WHICH WILL ADJUST BUDGETED APPROPRIATIONS
6 AND REVENUE SOURCES AND PROVIDE SPENDING
7 AUTHORITY FOR THE GENERAL FUND (001) FOR
8 THE CENTRAL SQUARE AGREEMENT; PROVIDING
9 FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND AN
10 EFFECTIVE DATE.

12 WHEREAS,a final budget was approved by the City Commission in September,2020,
13 for the fiscal year 2020-2021; and
14 WHEREAS, on December 15, 2020, the City Commission via Resolution R20-138,
15 approved entering into an Agreement with Central Square which requires a budget
16 amendment to appropriate the funds; and
17 WHEREAS,the City Manager is recommending amending the amount necessary to be
18 appropriated for fiscal year 2020-2021 for the General Fund(see Exhibit A).
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
20 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,FLORIDA:
21 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
22 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
23 hereof.
24 Section 2. Hereby amending the appropriated FY 2020-2021 budget for the General
25 Fund from $99,218,382 to $99,308,382.
26 A copy of such amendment and/or adjustment is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and the
27 appropriations set out therein for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020 and ending
28 September 30, 2021,to maintain and carry on the government of the City of Boynton Beach.
29 Section 3. That there is hereby appropriated revised amounts to the General Fund
30 (see Exhibit A)pursuant to the terms of the budget.

31 Section 4. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
32 repealed to the extent of such conflict.
33 Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
