A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
THE PURCHASE OF UPDATED CRIME MAPPING
SOFTWARE FROM CHARLES RIVER
TECHNOLOGIES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it is in the best interests of
the residents of the City to approve the purchase from Charles River Technologies for the
customization services and updating of the Crime Mapping Software, and
WHEREAS, Charles River Technologies will update the CAD/RMS compmer
with the latest GIS layering to realign the municipal boundaries, patrol sectors,
reporting areas and commissioner boundaries, and
WHEREAS, Charles River Technologies is the designer of the original software
and the only vendor allowed to make changes to the system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CONI34ISSION
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does
authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Agreement between
and Charles River Technologies.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall become effective munediately upon
