A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA~
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A CERTAIN CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND S & B MARINE
ENGINEERING, INC., PROVIDING FOR THE
RENTAL OF A SPUD BARGE FOR THE PURPOSE
OF STAGING A FIREWORKS DISPLAY ON JULY
4, 1991, AT BOYNTON INLET PARK; A COPY
OF SAID CONTRACT IS ATTACHED HERETO AS
EXHIBIT "A"; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton
3each, Florida, upon recommendation of staff, deems it to be
in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the
City of Boynton Beach, to execute a certain Contract between
the City of Boynton Beach and S & B Marine Engineering, said
Contract being attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City of Boynton Beach, Florida
hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk to
~xecute a certain Contract between the City of Boynton Beach
and S & B Marine Engineering, providing for the rental of a
spud barge 80' x 30' for the purpose of staging a fireworks
~ispSa¥ on July 4, 1991, at the Boynton Inlet Park, a copy
9f said Contract being attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This Resolution shall take
immediately upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ~ day of June, 1991.
