A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE FINANCE DIRECTOR OR THE CITY MANAGER,TO
APPROVE PAYMENT OF~MONIES FOR THE WORKER S
COMPENSATION CUkIM FUND.
WHEREAS, The City of Boynton Beach has self insured Worker's
Compensation Insurance; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of this program, the City is furnished the
services of Professional Administrators Inc. to handle claims management
and administration; and
WHEREAS, this service includes the payment of all warranted claims
from a fund to be established by the insured; and
WHEREAS, it is the determination of the Finance Department in order to
maximize cash flow, that this fund be established at $20,000; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary from time to time upon demand for the City to
issue additional funds to keep a $20,000 fund balance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Finance DirectOr or the City Manager are hereby
authorized to approve payment of monies for the Worker's Compensation
claims fund as may be necessary.
