A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOHNNETTA BROOMFIELD
AS DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTmeNT OF COMMUNITY
iMPROVEMENT OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA TO MAKE CERTIFICATIONS ESTABLISHING
THE FAiR MARKET VALUE OF PROPERTY TO BE
ACQUIRED BY THE CiTY OF BOYNTOP~ BEACH FOR THE
INFiLL CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM.
WHEREAS~ under guidelines established pursuant to the
Uniform Act (P.L. 91-646) cf 1970~ an author!zed offici~i acting
under a general resolution may execute an appropriate
certification, which among other things:
Establishes just compensation for each property.
Identifies each property by name of owner, parcel
number or other identification.
De!imiss the property and the interest to be acquired
therein.
Certifies that the work of the appraiser(s) and the
revmew appraiser with respect to each property has been
performed in a competent manner mn accordance with
applicable State Law! the Uniform Relocation Assistance
and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970,
State and local policies and requirementsf and
WHEREAS, it is the City's desire and intent to authorize
Johnnetta Broomfield~ Director~ Community Improvement Department,
to execute the Certifications as referenced above for purposes of
the Infill Construction Program.
NOW. TIIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY O~ BOYNTO}~ BEACH~ FLORIDA TI~AT:
Section 1. %~_.e Director of the Community Improvement
Department is hereby authorized to make such certification and to
perform ali necessary and/or desirable actions to comply with the
Locality~s Lan~ Acquisition Policies and Procedures and Land
Acquisition requirements as they presently exist and as they may
be amended for purposes of the Infill Construction Program.
