A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CERTAIN AMENDED
AGREEMENT BETWEEN PALM BEACH COUNTY AND
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH FOR COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING FOR LAND
ACQUISITION, A COPY OF SAID AMENDED
AGREEMENT BEING ATTACHED HERETO AS
EXHIBIT "A"; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, An Agreement was originally entered into
between Palm Beach County and the City of Boynton Beach on
November 1, 1988, to provide CDGB funds; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement expired on September 30, 1990,
~nd is hereby being extended for a six (6) month period to
~pril 1, 1991, by way of the attached Amended Agreement;
NOW, ~THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
)F THE CITYOF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
~uthorized and directed to execute a certain Amended
~greement between the City of Boynton Beach, Florida and
?alm Beach County, said Amended Agreement being attached
%ereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
