1. Openings
A. Call to Order — Mayor Steven B. Grant
Mayor Grant called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.
B. Roll Call
City Clerk Gibson called the roll. A quorum was present.
John McNally, ITS Director, explained how the online meeting would proceed and how
the public could participate.
Invocation by Rabbi Dr. Solomon Rothstein, Police Chaplain
Rabbi Rothstein was not in attendance. In his absence, the Invocation was given by
Commissioner Hay.
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag led by Commissioner Romelus.
Commissioner Romelus led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Agenda Approval:
1. Additions, Deletions, Corrections
Mayor Grant requested to add Item 5B, his request to donate Community Support Funds
and remove Item 8A. He explained that he is requesting to remove 8A as staff is waiting
for a response back from the Department of Economic Opportunity and this could take
weeks, possibly months.
Vice Mayor Penserga requested to add for Future Agenda Items, a discussion of the
Quantum Park Overlay Dependent District and an update on cultural programming and
the process by which one utilizes the City's venues. He explained further having a

discussion on the current facilities and new facilities such as the Women's Club and the
New Arts and Cultural Center.
Commissioner Romelus stated that she would like to add a discussion on the selection of
the Vice Mayor and a donation of her Community Support Funds.
Mayor Grant reviewed the deletions and additions to the agenda. He stated the
Commission will be removing Item 8A and adding 5B and 5C, Community Support Funds,
adding Item 11B, selection of Vice Mayor and adding a discussion of the Quantum Park
Overlay Dependent District and the utilization of current and new City facilities to Item 13,
Future Agenda Items.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that regarding the Community Support Funds, once
approved, the necessary paperwork must be filed as well.
2. Adoption
Motion
Commissioner Romelus moved to approve the agenda as amended. Vice Mayor
Penserga seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
2. Other
A. Informational items by Members of the City Commission
Commissioner Romelus disclosed that she met with LKM, which is their former name,
regarding the 115 North Federal Project.
Commissioner Romelus also recognized high school students from the EJS Project, who
were in the audience tonight. She stated that the EJS Project is a community organization
based out of Delray Beach and they were visiting today to learn more about local
government and how a city is run.
Vice Mayor Penserga disclosed that on May 4th, he attended the Downtown Business
Coalition event and was happy to see the number of small business owners who showed
up for the event.
Mayor Grant disclosed that on April 21st, he attended the Education Foundation of Palm
Beach County Red Apple Supplies event. He stated that this organization supplies
teachers with the necessary school supplies for free. On April 22nd, he passed the test,
with a 92%, to become a Certified Public Pension Trustee for the City's Employee Public
Pension. On April 24th, he attended the Best Buddies International event at the 15 Ball
Park. He stated that other Boynton Beach employees were in attendance as well and
added that Boynton Beach was recognized as being an inclusive City where everyone
feels welcomed. On April 26th, he met with Jessica White with the Sexual Exploitation

and Abuse Child Protection Agency, regarding funding from the City to this agency. On
April 26th, he had lunch with Tom Kaiser at the Tom Kaiser Boynton Beach Veterans
Memorial Park. On the evening of April 26th, he attended the Historical Society of Boynton
Beach event and on April 27th, he met with John Markey and Jeff Johnson of JKM
Developers. During the week of April 28th to May 1st, he took a trip to Tallahassee via Tri-
Rail and Greyhound. He stated that during his visit, he attended a virtual meeting with
Senator Berman, visited the Capital with Representative Casello and met with
Representative Caruso, once session concluded. On April 30th, he virtually attended the
Southeast Florida Transportation Council (SEFTC) meeting. He stated that the Council
has representatives from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County focusing on the
Tri-Rail, Brightline and what will become of the commuter rail on the FEC Corridor.
Mayor Grant disclosed that during his trip to Tallahassee, he also met with Windwood
Communications, and added that he wanted to thank the City's lobbyist partners for
helping him make this Tallahassee trip. He then wished everyone a happy Greek
Orthodox Easter on May 2nd
Mayor Grant stated that there was no closed-door session in regards to the lawsuit on the
City's Town Square. He reiterated his proposal for allowing for TIF, community benefits
for the south garage. He stated that he hopes that the City can work with developers, both
public and private, to reset the button for the hotel, the Northern parcel and central parcel.
He announced that today is May 4th, so "May the fourth be with you" and added that he
lunched with Daniel Hartwell and answered calls regarding the community standards in
the Heart of Boynton Beach, making sure businesses are not conducting business on
community roads. He then asked City Attorney Cherof if he would be able to address the
Governor's Executive Order regarding the legality for the next City Commission meeting.
City Attorney Cherof stated that he could and will also issue a memorandum tomorrow
morning to the City Commission, City Manager and City Clerk regarding the order.
Commissioner Hay wished all the mothers a Happy Mother's Day this Sunday, Maygth
3. Announcements, Community and Special Events and Presentations
A. State Senator Lori Berman and State Representative Joe Casello to provide an
update on the 2021 Florida Legislative Session.
Representative Casello thanked the Commission for allowing him to come and speak
tonight and gave an update on the recent Legislative Session. Representative Casello
stated that the session was focused on taking local government out of the equation, which
he did not agree with. He recapped the session with the bills that passed, those that did
not pass and the good things that happened during this session. He started off with the
bills that passed. He stated that House Bill (HB) 53 was growth management bill, which
states that if a project receives any State funds, there will be no restrictions placed on
where the contractor is located, nor tied to any apprenticeship programs. He stated that
HB 421 and HB 110 makes it significantly easier to sue local government over land use

issues, under the Bert Harris Act. Representative Casello stated that HB 839, stops local
governments from being in the gas station industry and could affect green energy moving
forward. He mentioned HB 663 Cottage Food Operations bill, which allows home
businesses making under $250K exemptions from local laws. This exemption was
previously under $50,000. He stated that HB 259, would make it harder for local
governments to preempt any existing firearms laws. He mentioned HB 403, would allow
home businesses up to two employees without local government restrictions. This means
someone could operate a car repair shop in their neighborhood. He stated this will disrupt
the neighborhoods and give less authority to local code enforcement. Representative
Casello also mentioned a referendum by the voters in Key West, which received over
60% of the vote, would prohibit huge cruise ships from docking in Key West. This
referendum was attached to another bill and did not go through and this was only after a
pier operator donated $1 M to Governor DeSantis. He stated that lastly there was a bill
regarding impact fees and percentages a local entity could impose and when increases
could occur, which will definitely impact local government.
Representative Casello stated there were some good things that did happen this session,
$100M towards dealing with rising sea levels, $500M towards converting septic to sewer,
expending of Medicaid regarding maternity leave and a bill which allows students in-state
tuition if their grandparents are residents of Florida. Representative Casello stated that
another good bill that passed, which he and Senator Berman have worked together on
for the past few years, is the "Purple Alert". He stated this is very similar to the "Amber
Alert" and the "Silver Alert" and would alert the public of a missing persons with cognitive
disabilities, such as autism or down syndrome. He stated that HB 81, regarding sales tax
exemption for certain medical devices for elderly and veterans, did not pass but a portion
of this bill did get rolled into the tax passage. He stated that he co-sponsored a first
responders bill that would have given more protection to firefighters, unfortunately it did
not pass in the senate. Representative Casello concluded by stating that he and his
colleagues were able to achieve $1 M appropriations to go back to the community, funds
for ADA crosswalks and transportation discounts for the disabled and the disadvantage.
Representative Casello said that he was very proud to work with Senator Berman and
added that she is a fighter.
Senator Berman thanked the Commission for having her here tonight. She stated that
there were only 275 bills that passed during this session and for her and Representative
Casello to get the tax exemption and "Purple Alert" passed is amazing. Senator Berman
stated that the tax exemption for medical expenses would allow the elderly to age in their
homes with dignity. She announced that the senate passed a $100B budget, which was
partly due to the American Recovery Act. She stated that overall it was a very tough year
and was the worst year regarding preemption that she has seen in her 11 years in office.
Senator Berman mentioned that HB 403 barely passed in the senate and could be vetoed
by the Governor. She stated that there was a bill that preempts the sale of tobacco and
nicotine products and where they could be displayed in stores. This will allow stores to
display these products anywhere they choose. She stated that the most egregious
preemption was the Key West referendum regarding huge cruise ships and the fact that
the voters were overridden. Senator Berman stated that there was bill regarding Florida
Building Codes and local regulation and when first purposed, was horrible. She said that

a few amendments were put in place and now states that regulation can occur if the
dwelling is in plan unit development or a master plan community and there is an
architectural review board in place, within the jurisdiction.
Commissioner Romelus questioned if the review board had to be in place already prior to
this bill passing.
Senator Berman stated that she believed that the review board would need to be in place
now, but advised to work with the City's counsel on that issue. She said that she has
been in office for 11 years and Boynton Beach has always been in her district.
Vice Mayor Penserga said that he is aware that there will be a special session and asked
if the American Rescue Plan will be dealt with at this special session.
Senator Berman replied that right now all they have been told was that the special session
will deal with the Seminole Tribe and gambling.
Senator Berman stated that they did pass an internet sales tax, which was very exciting
as it is not fair that the brick-and-mortar businesses have to pay a sales tax and internet
businesses do not. She said that unfortunately the funds that would come from this sales
tax are being used to fund unemployment for businesses and none of the money will go
to the people that really need it.
Senator Berman stated that the Sadowski Coalition Fund was very high this year, due to
the fact that there were a lot of people moving to Florida. Senator Berman stated that
half of the funds will go to the Sadowski Coalition Fund for affordable housing and the
other half will go the Water Resiliency Fund.
Commissioner Hay questioned the gas station bill and local jurisdictions regulating the
placement of the station.
Senator Berman stated that she believed the bill pertained more to the requirement of
renewable energy at gas stations and not the placement of the stations.
Senator Berman concluded by stating that unfortunately the theme of this session was to
take the authority away from local entities, which is disappointing.
Mayor Grant thanked Senator Berman and Representative Casello for coming to speak
at tonight's meeting.
B. Announcement by Gary Dunmyer, Interim Director of Public Works &
Engineering, that the Solid Waste Division will be having Tire Amnesty Week
for City Residents from May 31st, 2021 - June 4th, 2021.
Gary Dunmyer, Interim Director of Public Works and Engineering, stated that the Solid
Waste Division will be having a tire amnesty week from May 31st to June 4th. He stated
that during this week, those who need to dispose of tires, can place up to eight tires for
Solid Waste to pick up.

C. Hurricane Season begins June 1st and the Solid Waste Division is urging
residents to do their part by conducting tree trimming early in preparation for the
Hurricane Season.
Mayor Grant stated that hurricane season is coming up on June 1st and the Solid Waste
Division is urging all to start preparing by doing tree trimming early.
D. Proclaim the month of May 2021 as Guardian Ad Litem, Speak Up for Kids and
Foster Care Appreciation Month. Tonya Cajuste of Speak Up for Kids will
accept the proclamation.

Mayor Grant declared the month of May as Guardian Ad Litem, Speak Up for Kids and
Foster Care Appreciation Month.
E. Proclaim May 2021 as Mental Health and Trauma Informed Care Month. Gerda
Klein of the Boynton Beach Mental Health Committee will accept the
Proclamation.
Gerda Klein, from the Boynton Beach Mental Health Committee, accepted the
proclamation and thanked the Mayor and Commission for this declaration. She also
expressed her deep appreciation for the City's support regarding mental health
awareness and trauma. Ms. Klein stated that green is the color for mental health, so
please remember to show your support by wearing green this month, especially on May
20th where it will be a county wide support day for mental health awareness.
F. Proclaim May 2-8, 2021 as Municipal Clerks Week. Crystal Gibson, City Clerk
of Boynton Beach, will accept the proclamation.
Crystal Gibson, City Clerk, accepted the proclamation and gave thanks for recognition
of the City Clerk profession. She stated that this was her first Commission meeting since
recently returning to the office from maternity leave, and she wanted to extend
appreciation to the City Clerk's Office staff for holding the fort down while being short
staffed. She specifically thanked Deputy City Clerk Tammy Stanzione, Specialized
Assistant and Cemetery point person Shayla Ellis, Minutes Specialist Catherine Cherry-
Guberman and Imaging Technician Jaime Sanchez. She said it is definitely the collective
work of all the wonderful staff that makes the City Clerk's Office succeed in serving our
community well.
F. Proclaim May 18, 2021 as Haitian Flag Day and proclaim the month of May
2021 as Haitian Heritage Month. Commissioner Christina Romelus will accept
the proclamation.
Commissioner Romelus accepted the proclamation and thanked the Mayor and
Commission for this declaration. She stated that she was born in Haiti and came to
America when she was six years old. Commissioner Romelus stated that Haitians are

hardworking people and we are very proud of our heritage and proud to call America our
home.
G. Proclaim the month of May 2021 as National Historic Preservation Month. Ms.
Barbara Ready, Chair of the City's Historic Resources Preservation Board, will
receive the proclamation.

H. Proclaim May 14, 2021 as "No Place for Hate Day." Mr. Eric Ross, Senior
Associate Regional Director of ADL Florida Region, will accept the
proclamation.

proclamation and thanked the City for the declaration. He stated that on May 14th, we will
all come together and standup against "hate".
I. Proclaim May 8, 2021 as "John Lewis National Day of Action." Ms. V. Lynn
Whitfield, Esq. of the Transformative Justice Coalition/National Bar Association,
will accept the proclamation.

May 8th, they will be holding a voter motorcade, which will start at the Boynton Beach
Mall.
J. Mayor Steven B. Grant to announce the Greater Boynton Beach Sister Cities
Young Authors & Artists 2021 Virtual Exhibit and Awards Ceremony.
Mayor Grant stated that the event is being held on May 15th at 11a.m., 5 p.m. Italy time.
Commissioner Romelus stated that today is "International Firefighters Day and
requested the City to recognize this day. She added that her husband has just joined
the ranks to be a firefighter.
Fire Chief Stables, Director of Fire Rescue, thanked Commissioner Romelus for the
recognition.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that she was just informed by the Police Chief that next
week is "National Police Week" starting on May 9th and "Peace Officers Memorial Day"
on May 15tH
Commissioner Katz stated that this week is also "Teacher's Appreciation Week".
Vice Mayor Penserga stated that it is also "Asian Pacific Heritage" month and would

request a proclamation honoring this month be put on the next Commission meeting
agenda.
4. Public Audience
Individual Speakers Will Be Limited To 3 Minute Presentations (at the discretion of the
Chair,this 3 minute allowance may need to be adjusted depending on the level of business
comingbefore the City Commission)
Carol Porter, former resident of Boynton Beach at Banyan Creek Circle North, stated
that a woman named Bina Fink conned her out of a lot of money and took advantage of
her emotional state. She requested the help of the police to look at bank records and
emails and also requested that we do a better job as a community to protect our senior
citizens.
Sandra Raffaelli, Founder and Executive Director of aZul for Better Living, Inc., stated
that her non-profit organization empowers special need adults and their caregivers with
the unique abilities of fashioning art and design. She stated that she had Benjamin and
Victoria with her today who have created their own brand with sustainable fashion and
design techniques called "O.K.". Ms. Raffaelli stated that "O.K." stands for "One of a
Kind Trends". Ms. Raffaelli thanked the City for the continued support and added that
on May 22nd they will be holding an event, at their facility, for those in the program to sell
their clothing and for the public to see their beautiful artwork.
Jennifer Jones, Volunteer Association and Fund of Florida, stated that their facility is
located in Delray Beach and services Palm Beach County. She thanked the
Commission for passing the "Haitian Flag Day" proclamation and for the City's continued
support to refuges. Ms. Jones stated that she can be contacted at (561) 716-2956 or
(561) 344-6022, if anyone from the public wishes to help.
Tory Orr, 107 Northeast 7th Avenue, questioned why the Carolyn Sims Center is not
opened to the public. He stated that he brought a group of kids there the other day and
the doors were locked. He stated that he was very frustrated that only the City
employees and their children are allowed to use the center right now.
City Manager LaVerriere stated the Center is open and there are only restrictions to the
game room because of COVID.
Mayor Grant requested staff look into this issue. He stated that we are equipped with
hand sanitizers and masks and if need be, parents sign a liability waiver regarding
COVID. Mayor Grant requested that this item be placed on the next agenda for an
update and discussion.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that staff has been having many discussions regarding
this item. She stated that she will place this on the agenda for the next meeting.

Commissioner Hay questioned if the Governor's Executive Order overrides the County
and City. City Attorney Cherof stated that it would.
Tom Warnke, Executive Director of the Surfing Florida Museum, 2780 Wister Road,
stated that the Recreation and Parks Advisory Board met last Monday, April 26th, and at
this meeting the Board unanimously approved recommending moving forward with a
plan to put the Florida Surfing Museum in the Historic Women's Club building. Mr.
Warnke requested to know the next steps and if this could be placed on the next
Commission meeting agenda.
Mayor Grant questioned if this would give staff enough time to prepare.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that staff would need a little more time than the next
meeting. She added that this is the first time she is hearing of the recommendation.
Vice Mayor Penserga stated that he has requested the videos and recordings of advisory
board meetings, such as the Planning and Zoning Board, from staff and he has not
received anything.
Mayor Grant stated that, in regards to the video, he understands captioning could be an
issue. He added that maybe staff could look into expending funds on captioning for the
advisory boards so these Zoom meetings could be made available to the public.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that staff is following Florida Statute in regards to public
meetings and records retention and the minutes are made available to the public once
completed.
City Manager LaVerriere recommended reviewing the current policy regarding meeting
recordings and video recording and bringing this back for discussion at the June
meeting. She asked if June would be okay with the Commission.
The June meeting was agreeable to the Commission.
5. Administrative
A. Annual appointment of eligible members of the community to serve in
vacant positions on City Pdvisory Boards.
Mayor Grant read the vacancies. He stated that the first is the Art Advisory Board and
turned the floor over to Commissioner Hay.
Commissioner Hay stated that it is his understanding that there was an error and Ace
Ratcliff was already appointed to this board.

City Clerk Gibson stated that there was an error in the agenda packet. She stated that
the current vacancy is for the Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board
(CRAAB) and the current applicant for this board is Aimee Kelley.
Motion
Commissioner Hay nominated Aimee Kelley to the Community Redevelopment Agency
Advisory Board. Commissioner Romelus seconded the motion. The motion passed
unanimously.
B. Mayor Grant requests to donate $200 of Community Support Funds to the F.
Malcolm Cunningham Sr. Bar Association.
Mayor Grant requested to donate the remainder of his funds, which is $200, to the F.
Malcolm Cunningham Sr. Bar Association in support of the votercade event being held
on May 8th in honor of Representative John Lewis.
Mayor Grant made a motion to approve the donation. Commissioner Romelus seconded
the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
C. Commissioner Romelus requests to donate the remainder of her Community
Support Funds to the EJS Project.
Commissioner Romelus requested to donate the remainder of her funds to the EJS
Project, in support of a Young Legislators Program which introduces youth to politics.
Commissioner Romelus made a motion to approve the donation. Vice Mayor Penserga
seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
6. Consent Agenda
Matters in this section of the Agenda are proposed and recommended by the City
Manager for "Consent Agenda" approval of the action indicated in each item, with
all of the accompanying material to become a part of the Public Record and subject
to staff comments
A. Authorize utilizing the GSA contract GS-O7F-173GA for the purchase of
equipment and services for access control system replacement and upgrades
from Broadcast Systems in the amount of$70,630.62.
B. Approve the purchase of an Exagrid EX36-SEC encrypted backup storage
appliance from Transource Services Corp in the amount of $58,718.31.
C. Proposed Resolution No. R21-043 - Authorize the City Manager to sign
Professional Services
Agreement with Community Greening Corp., of Delray Beach, FL as a result of

RFP No. 0142821-21/KP for Professional Community-based Tree Planting
Program Services.
D. Approve reduction of a surety (Letter of Credit No. 27021) by the amount of
$135,505.26 from $157,005.26 to $21,500.00 and extend the length of the
surety bond for one (1) year to warranty against defects in workmanship and
material for the right-of-way improvements completed in association with the
Ocean Breeze East project.
E. Approve minutes from the City Commission meeting on April 6, 2021.
Motion
Commissioner Romelus moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Vice Mayor Penserga
seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
7. Consent Bids and Purchases Over$100,000
A. Award Task Order No. F-06-2021, Harvey Oyer Park installation of a precast
privacy wall, part of Bid No. 028-2511-20/RW for Minor Construction Services
and authorize the issuance of a
Purchase Order to Anzco, Inc. of Boca Raton, FL as the lowest responsive,
responsible bidder in the total amount of$137,000.
B. Approve utilizing the Nation IPA Cooperative Contract No. R161101 with EZGO
Division of Textron, Inc. for the lease and finance of Ninety (90) 2022 RXV Elite
Golf Cars in the net amount of $409,906.80.
Motion
Commissioner Romelus moved to approve the Consent Bids and Purchases of$100,000
Agenda. Vice Mayor Penserga seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
8. Public Hearing
6 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the agenda permits.
The City Commission will conduct these public hearings in its dual capacity
as Local Planning Agency and City Commission.
A. Proposed Ordinance No. 21-014 - Second Reading - Approve amendment
to the Future Land Use Map (LUAR 21-003) for the Knuth Road property
from Local Retail Commercial (LRC) to Mixed Use Low (MXL). City-initiated.
Proposed Ordinance No. 21-015 - Second Reading - Approve Rezoning
(LUAR 21-003) of the Knuth Road property from PCD, Planned Commercial
Development to SMU, Suburban Mixed

11. New Business
A. Review and select design of Pride Intersection in Boynton Beach.
Glenn Weiss, Public Art Manager, made a presentation to the Commission on the Pride
Intersection.
Mayor Grant asked what the cost would be for the Pride intersection.
City Manager LaVerriere stated the cost would be $12,000.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that if the Commission approves a design tonight, then
staff will start the process with the asphalt and that would need to cure for 30 days.
Vice Mayor Penserga stated that he was strongly in favor with the design that had
crosswalks. He stated that this one maximizes the art and has a unique design that will
set the City apart from neighboring cities.
Commissioner Romelus questioned how long this would last.
Gary Dunmyer, Interim Director of Public Works & Engineering, stated that it should last
2 years.
Commissioner Romelus stated that she agreed with the Vice Mayor Penserga but did not
like the design.
Vice Mayor Penserga recognized Rand Hoch President of the Palm Beach County
Human Rights Council, who joined the meeting.
The Commission and staff further discussed the options presented.
Motion
Commissioner Romelus moved to approve option three (the new rainbow flag without
crosswalks) with a mockup provided. Vice Mayor Penserga seconded the motion. The
motion passed unanimously.

B. Selection of Vice Mayor
Commissioner Romelus stated that she requested this item be added to the agenda. She
stated that even when there is not an election, every year there should be the selection
of Vice Mayor. She added that this position should also rotate.
City Attorney Cherof stated that there is a discrepancy between the City ordinance and
City Charter regarding the selection of Vice Mayor. He stated that the ordinance allows
for the current Commission to interpret, amongst themselves, if there should be the
selection of Vice Mayor, even during a year with an uncontested election.
Mayor Grant questioned if the Commission wanted to nominate a new Vice Mayor, do we
have the authority to do this.
City Attorney Cherof stated that the Commission can do this but recommended resolving
the conflict between the current ordinance and the charter. He recommended amending
the ordinance. He reiterated that the Commission has the power and authority to
reappoint a Vice Mayor every year following an election.
Motion
Commissioner Romelus moved to resolve the conflict between the City Code of
Ordinances and the City Charter regarding the appointment of the Vice Mayor, such that
a new Vice Mayor is re-appointed or appointed on an annual basis. Vice Mayor Penserga
seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Mayor Grant stated that a discussion on the dissolution of the Quantum Park Overlay
Development District was requested to be added to Future Agenda Items.
Mayor Grant stated that a discussion regarding the new facilities was also added to Future
Agenda Items. He stated that the Commission is requesting to know how the process is
moving along. He questioned if staff would be hiring an outside management company
to oversee aspects of the new facility and the fee schedule.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that with the addition of the Historic Women's Club, staff
has been working on a fee schedule, a reservation policy and finalizing a policy for the
Cultural Center and amphitheater. She stated that staff would request at least 30 days
to bring this to the Commission. She added that staff is not contemplating using an
outside management company to run the facilities.
Mayor Grant requested staff have a draft of the policies and fee schedule for the
Commission to review at the first meeting in June.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that she will have a draft to the Commission by June 1st
Commissioner Romelus questioned if staff has put in a clause for COVID related issues.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that there is a clause in the policies for COVID.
Mayor Grant questioned when they would hear back on the RPFs for the café.
City Manager LaVerriere stated that she should have them back within the next two
meetings.
John McNally, ITS Director, stated as a reminder, a recorded version of this session
