AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
REPEALING SECTION 3.3 subsection (d) OF ~THE CODIFIED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, PERTAINING
TO CLOSING OF BARS ON DAYS OF GENERAL OR PRIMARY
ELECTIONS; PROVIDING FURTHER FOR SAVINGS CLAUSE,
REPEALING PROVISIONS, AUTHORITY TO CODIFY, AND
AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
~E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
2EACH, FLORIDA:
Seclion 1: Thai the provisions of Seclion 3.3, subsection (d) of
;he Codified ~O~dinances of the Cily of Boynton Beach, Florida, which reads as
!ollows:
"(d) Alcoholic beverages of more than one percenl of alcohol by
weight on any day of a general or primary election during the
hours when the polls are open.
~e, and the same are hereby, repealed in lheir entirety.
Seciion .2: Separa, b~ili.iy: Each of lhe provisions of this Ordinance
~re separable, including word, clause, phrase or senlence, and if any portion
hereof shall be declared invalid, the remaining portion shall nol be affected bul
~hall remain in full force and effect.
Seclion 3: Auth,o~r,it, y to Codify,: Specific aulhority is hereby granled
:o codify and incorporate this Ordinance in the City's exisling Code.
Section 4: .Repea~l,ing Provisions: Ail ordinances or paris of
~rdinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Seclion 5: Effeclive Dale: This Ordinance shall become effeclive
in lhe manner and at lhe time provided in lhe charter and Ordinances of the City
~f Boynlon,Beach, Florida.
