AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF SAID CITY
TO E~fTEND ITS MUNICIPAL TERRITORIAL LIMITS BY
THE ANNE~-~ZATION OF AN UNINCORPORATED TRACT OF
LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS THERETO AND WITHIN PALM
BEACH COUNTY. FLORIDA, TO WIT: A PARCEL Q¢ LAND
LOCATED IN PALM BEACH FARMS COMPANY PLAT NO. 8,
PLAT BOOK 5, PAGE 73, PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREINAFTER; PROVIDING FOR REPEALING AND SAVINGS
CLAUSES, AN EFFECTIVE DATE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the owners of a certain tract of land more particularly
described hereinafter, lying adjacent and contiguous to the territorial limits
of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, and within Pall Beach County, Florida
have petitioned the City Council for the annexation of said property by the City?.
of Boynton Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS, subjec~-~tr-act contains less than ten-_'~egistered voters;
and
WHEREAS, ii is considered to be for the best interest of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida, and for the owner of subject tract that same be
annexed, and included within the municipal territorial limits of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
S.e. cti?n 1: That the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florid~
hereby declares its intention to annex the following-described tract of land to
the municipal territorial limits of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, at the
expiration of thirty days from the passage of this Ordinance:
Parcel 1: Blocks 37 to 39, inc., Block 40, (less South 222.23 feet of
West 213 feel thereof~jBlock 57, (less North 40.77 fe~t of West 213
feet thereof, )~Blocks 58 to 62, inc.; Block 66, (less State Road right
of way;)yand Blocks 67 to 72, inc., (less state road right of way. )
Parcel 2; Tracts A to E, Block 35, and Tracts A to E, Block 36 ~
Parcel 3: The South 91.75 feet of the~West 213 feet of Lot D; and Norl
39.75 feet of the West 213' feet of Lot E, Block 40~
Parcel: 4: All of Blocks 89 and 90; the West 80 feet of Blocks 91, 102
and 103. All of Blocks 103, 104, 121, and 122;
All of said property being located in Palm Beach Farms Company
Plat #8, as recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 73, of the public records
of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Section 2: ReP. ealing Provisions: Ail ordinances or paris of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
S.e. cti0n 3: Separability: Should any section or provisions of the
ordinance[~ or any portion hereof, be declared by a court of competent juris-
diction to be invalid, such dec~sion shall not affect the validity of the remain-
der hereof as a whole or any part hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other
than the part declared to be invalid.
SectiOn 4; Thai the City Clerk shall proceed with publication of
notice of adoption of this Ordinance in accordance with th~ Charier of the
City in such cases made and provided.
Section 5: ]Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective
in the manner and at the time provided by the charter and ordinances of the
City of Boynton Beach,
