O69-23 ORDINANCE NO. 69-23 AN APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,1969 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1970. WHEREAS, the CITY CHARTER of the CITY OF BOYNT ON BEACH, ~,e2~ires an appropriations ordinance be passed by the City Council of said municipality each year, adopting a budget showing revenue of t~he city from all sources and khe estimated expenditures to the various purposes for khe ensuing fiscal year: NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows: SECTION 1: That the proposed budget for the ensuing fiscal year,previous- ly prepared by the City Manager now on file in the City Hall of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby adopted for the fiscal year of said municipality beginning October 1, 1969 and ending September 30, 1970, pursuant to and in compliance with khe provisions of Section 28 and Section 84 of the City Charter of the City of Boy, ton Beach,Florida, said budget being made a part hereof by reference: SECTION ?.: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $1,560,942.00 to the General Fund for the payment of operating expenses and necessary capital outlay for the city government pursuant to the terms of khe above budget. SECTION 3: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $30,000.00 to the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt service for the purpose of paying the interest due on the general obligation bonds of the City not sub- ject to statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they mature. SECTION 4: Thai there is hereby appropriated the sum of $19,638.00 to the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt service for the purpose of paying the interest due on the general obligation bonds of the City subject to statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they mature. Page 1 of 2 Pages SECTION 5: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $535,349.00 to the Water Utility Fund and Sewer Utility Fund for operating expenses and necessary capital outlay for the'municipal water and sewer departments. SECTION 6: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $351,551.00 to the interest and Sinking Fund of the combined municipal water and sewer departments for the general debt service for the purpose of paying interest due on the bonds of said departments and for redeeming such bonds as they mature, and for payment of outstanding developer's refunding agreements. SECTION 7: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $2-8,100.00 to the Community Promotion Fund for the payment of operating expense pursuant to the terms of the above budget. SEC TION 8: That this ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida in such case made and provided.
