AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER' 5 OF THE CODIFIED
ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY, REPEALING PERMIT-
FEES FOR INSPECTION OF INSTALLATION OF HEAT
STRIPS; PROVIDING FOR AUTHORITY TO CODIFY,
SAVINGS CLAUSE, REPEAL'ING PROVISIONS, EFFECT1ME
.DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
1~ Section 5.2-825.3-6(e), pertaining to permit fees for
.nspection of installation of heat strips under general air conditioning portion
)f Municipal Building Code, which reads as follows: "(e) Heat strips - for
'irst 1,000 watts, $1,00; plus 50~ per each additional I, 000 watts or fraction
hereof", be and the same is hereby rescinded and repealed.
Section 2: Authority to Codify: Specific authority is hereby
ranted to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in the City's existing Code.
SectiOn 3: Separability: Each of the provisions of this
~rdinance are separable, including word, clause, phrase or sentence, and if
~ny. portion hereof shall be declared invalid, the remaining portion shall not be
~ffected but shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4: Repealing Provisions: All ordinances or parts of
,rdinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5: Effective Date: This Ordinance shall become
~ffective in the manner and at the time provided in the charter and Ordinances
