THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CERTAIN AMENDED
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH AND PALM BEACH COUNTY WHICH
EXTENDS THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SAID
AGREEMENT DATED NOVEMBER 1, 1988, FROM
APRIL 30, 1990 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1990, A
COPY OF SAID AMENDED AGREEMENT BEING
ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "1";
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, that:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute that certain Agreement, a
copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "1".
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon passage.

AMENDED AGREEMENT
BETWEEN PALM BEACH COUNTY AND
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH
This amended Agreement, entered into this day
of , 1990, by and between Palm Beach County and the
City of Boynton Beach.
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, Pa~;m Beach County entered into an Agreement
with the City of Boynton Beach, executed on November 1, 1988,
and approved by Resolution R-88-1906D~ ~to proVide $355,200
of. Community Development Block Grant funds for comprehensive
street improvements, upgrading of park facilities and lanu~
acquisition; and
WHEREAS, this agreement was amended by R89-1834D
which extended the effective date to April...30, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the ~..nvironmental review and oth~.r qualifica-
tions of specific in-fill project implementation have proven
to require lengthy an~:'lysis; and
WHEREAS, additional time is required to complete the
land acquisition for infill housing element of the agreement;
and
WHEREAS, both parties mutually agree that the origi~.~,l
Agreement as amended entered into on November 1, 1988, is
hereby further amended as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, all items in the previous Agreement in
conflict with the amendment shall be and are hereby changed to
conform to this amendment. All provisions not in conflict with
this aforementioned amendment are still in effect and shall be
performed at the same level as specified in the Agreement.
