ARCHITECT SHALL NOT BE KE5PON5IBLE FOR AND WILL NOT HAVE CONTROL OK CHARGE OF DEMOLITION MEANS, METHODS, AND TECHNIQUES, AND SEQUENCES AND PROCEDURES, OR FOR THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROGRAMS IN CONNECTION WITH THE WORK, AND HE WILL NOT BE KE5PON51BLE FOR THE CONTRACTORS FAILURE TO CARRY OUT THE WORK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. THE ARCHITECT SHALL NOT BE KE5PONSIBLE OR HAVE CONTROL OR CHARGE OVER THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF THE CONTRACTOR, 5UBCONTRACTOR5 OR ANY OF THEIR AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES, OR ANY OTHER PERSONS PERFORMING ANY OF THE WORK. 5. THE CODES HAVING JURISDICTION SHALL BE OBSERVED STRICTLY IN THE DEMOLITION ON THE PROJECT, INCLUDING ALL APPLICABLE STATE, CITY, COUNTY BUILDING, ZONING, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, LIFE 5AFETY AND FIRE CODES. THE CONTRACTOR 5HALL VERIFY ALL CODE REQUIKEMENT5 AND THE DEMOLITION DOCUMENTS AND BRING ANY DISCREPANCIES TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT. 6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RE51'ONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING ALL REQUIRED DEMOLITION AND TRADE PERMITS AND THEIR RESPECTED COSTS. 7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE PROJECT SITE PRIOR TO DEMOLITION AND/OK CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS AND SHALL VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS WITH THE DEMOLITION DOCUMENTS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS WITH REFERENCE TO ARCHITECTURAL, STRUCTURAL, MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS, ANY DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN THESE EX15TING CONDITIONS AND DEMOLITION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ARCHITECTS ATTENTION PRIOR TO THE 5UBM15510N OF BID5 OR CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS. THE CONTRACTOR 5HALL COORDINATE AND SCHEDULE WORK BY TRADES, SUPPLIERS, 5UBCONTKACTOK5 AND OTHER PROVIDERS TO INSURE THAT THE WORK, WHEN COMPLETED WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTENT OF THE DEMOLITION DOCUMENTS. 9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN THE PREMISE CLEAN AND FREE OF TRASH DE13KI5 AND SHALL PROTECT ALL ADJACENT WORK FROM DAMAGE, SOILING, ETC. ALL REMAINING FACILITIE5 5HALL BE LEFT CLEAN AND READY FOR CON5TKUCTION UPON COMPLETION OF DEMO, 10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL KEPAIK AND/OR REPLACE ALL EXISTING ITEMS DAMAGED IN THE PROCESS OF DEMOLITION AND SHALL FINISH ALL PATCHWORK AND REPAIRS TO MATCH EXISTING ADJACENT AREAS AND SURFACES. 11.
