90-XX RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH', FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A POLICY FOR THE COLLECTION OF COSTS INCURRED BY THE CITY FOR TRAFFIC STUDIES; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. W~R~EAS, the City Commission has determined that sound fiscal management mandates the recovery of traffic engineer and traffic consultant fees incurred by the City in conjunction with development review by the City; and WHEREFORE, the City has previously enacted Resolution 86-Z establishing fee schedules for land use regulations in the City; and WHEREFORE, the City Commission intends to establish a policy regarding the recovery of traffic engineering and traffic consulting fees; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, that: Section 1. For all applications for development within the City of Boynton beach where the criteria established by the Performance Standards Ordinance or the Municipal Implementation Ordinance apply, the application fee shall include an amount necessary to reimburse the City and all costs of review for traffic studies Traffic Engineer or Traffic for any conducted by the City's Consultant as follows: A. For traffic studies for projects which generate 2,000 or more trips per day, reimbursement to the City shall be required for all such applications; For traffic studies for projects which generate more than 500 trips per day, but less than 2,000 trips per day, reimbursement to the City shall be required only if review of the traffic study by the City's traffic engineer or traffic consultant is requested by applicant.
