A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA
AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF CARRIE A. PARKER IN A
NON-CLASSIFIED POSITION OF ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the City desires to employ the services of
Carrie A. Parker in a non-classified position of Assistant
City Manager and
WHEREAS, Carrie A. Parker wishes to accept employment
as Assistant City Manager of the City of Boynton Beach under
the terms and conditions mutually agreed upon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY!OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Carrie A. Parker be employed at a
salary of $55,150 annually.
Section 2. That the City will contribute 7% to the
ICMA Retirement for Carrie A. Parker.
Section 3. That Carrie A. Parker will receive a $150
car allowance per month.
Section 4. That vacation time will be credited to
Carrie A. Parker according to the vacation schedule of other
employees with the exception that forty (40) hours will be
credited to her immediately on employment and accrued
thereafter according to civil service rules. Sick leave
will be credited according to civil service rules governing
general employees.
Section 5. That Carrie A. Parker will be eligible for
all insurances and other benefits offered by the City except
for participation in the general employee's pension plan.
Section 6. That with the approval of the City Manager
the City will pay reasonable moving expenses for Carrie A
Parker. '
ATTEST
Section 7. That this Resolution shall become effective
at employment date of Car~~rker.
