89-DDDRESOLUTION NO. 89- DDD
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING
THE MANY CONTRIBUTIONS THAT OWEN L. ANDERSON
HAS MADE TO THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH.
WHEREAS, Owen L. Anderson has dedicated the past eight years of
his professional career to improving the quality of life for all residents
of Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, Owen L. Anderson has worked diligently and successfully
to bring new jobs and economic growth to this community; and
WHEREAS, Owen L. Anderson has involved the local business com-
munity in the development and redevelopment efforts of the City of Boynton
Beach; and
WHEREAS, Owen L. Anderson has worked above and beyond the call of
duty in his position as Executive Vice President of the Greater Boynton
Beach Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Owen L. Anderson has devoted many hours of his personal
time toward the betterment of this community as a whole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section I. The City Commission of Boynton Beach formally extends
its sincere appreciation to Owen L. Anderson for the numerous and inva-
luable contributions that he has made to this community.
Section 2. The City Coffmission hereby challenges all citizens to
adhere to the spirit of cooperation and dedication as exhibited by Owen L.
Anderson's tireless dedication to the improvement of our community.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 17th day of October, 1989.
