A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PENSION BOARD TO
ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL
ACTUARIAL SERVICES BETWEEN HERGET AND
COMPANY AND THIS CITY.
WHEREAS, the Pension Board requires actuarial services;
and
WHEREAS, Herget and Company has responded to a request
for a proposal which fulfills the needs of the Board,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH THAT:
Section 1. That the Agreement for professional
actuarial services attached hereto and incorporated by
reference is hereby approved.
Section 2. The chairman of the Pension Board is
hereby authorized to sign said Agreement on behalf of this
City.

AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ACTUARIAL
SERVICES BETWEEN HERGET AND COMPANY
AND THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH
THIS AGREEMENT is entered into this 15 day of August , 1989, between
HERGET AND COMPANY (hereinafter "HERGET") and the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH
(hereinafter "CITY").
WHEREAS, it is desirable to formalize the existing agreement for pen-
sion actuarial services between the CITY and HERGET.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE UNDERSIGNED PARTIES DO COVENANT AND AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
I. SERVICES
HERGET shall provide all pension actuarial services requested by the
CITY as outlined in the Request for Proposal for Actuarial Services.
II. COMPENSATION
Compensation to HERGET for all services rendered hereunder shall be an
amount of $9,500 as specified in the Response to the Request for Proposal
dated November 21, 1988.
III. TERMINATION
The CITY may terminate this Agreement, at any time, at its sole
discretion, upon written notice to HERGET. HERGET may terminate this
Agreement upon thirty (30) days written notice to the CITY.
IV. COMPLIANCE WITH LAW
All services provided by HERGET hereunder shall be provided in accor-
dance with the City Code, as amended from time to time, and in accordance
with applicable local, state and federal law.
V. APPROVAL OF CITY COUNCIL
This Agreement is subject to approval of the City Council, by
Resolution of said Council.
