A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF THE CITY
MANAGER; STATING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Boynton Beach
was hired by Resolution of the City Commission and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has this day handed in his
resignation and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Manager's resignation (hereby
incorporated in this Resolution and attached hereto) is
accepted and made effective as of midnight, this 1st day of
August, 1989.

Dear ~yor Moore,
i hearby submit my resignation as City Manager of Boynton Beach effective
midnight, AuguSt l, 1989.
This resignation is accompanied by a City Commission agreement to the foll~owing:
1) Six (6) months separation pay of $3?,249.98.
2) 7% pension contribution of #1 above(S2,60?.50).
3) Pay for pending Annual Leave ($14,722.02).
4) Pay for one half of accumulated sick leave ($14,614.50).
5) One (1) year health insurance premium for employee ($1,464.00).
City will pay for legal costs of defense and any award if Peter L. Cheney
is sued as a result of employment in Boynton Beach.
