A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A CERTAIN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING
EASEMENT TIGHTS TO FLORIDA POWER AND
LIGHT -~6MPANY, A COPY OF SAID
EASEMENT DEED BEING ATTACHED HERETO
AS EXHIBIT 1; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, that:
Section 1: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute that certain Easement
Deed conveying easement rights to Florida Power and Light
Company, a copy of which Deed is attached hereto as Exhibit
Section 2: This
immediately upon passage.

The undersigned, in consideration of the payment of $1.00 and other good and valuable considera-
tion, the adequacy and receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, grant and give to Florida Power &
Light Company, its licensees, agents, successors, and assigns, an easement forever for the construc-
tion, operation and maintenance of overhead and underground electric utility facilities (including
wires, poles, guys, cables, conduits and appurtenant equipment) to be installed from time to time;
with the right to reconstruct, improve, add to, enlarge, change the voltage, as well as, the size of and
remove such facilities or any of them within an easement 10 feet in width described as follows:
A 10 foot wide Florida Power & Light Company easement lying in a
portion of a park tract, Meadows 300 - Plat No2 3, as recorded in
Plat Book 48, Pages 196 through 200, of the Public Records of Palm
Beach County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows:
Commence at the southwest corner of Tract "G" of said Plat; thence
South 02°37'16'' West along the westerly line of said Plat a distance
of 60.04 feet; thence South 85o22'44'' East along the southerly line
of a 60 foot road right-of-way a distance of 5.00 feet to the
Point of Beginning of the centerline of a 10 foot wide easement
(5 feet on each side of said centerline); thence South 02°37'16''
west along a line 5 feet east of and parallel with the westerly line
of said park tract, a distance of 465.51 feet; thence S 89o52'53''
East along a line five feet North of and parallel with the southerly
line of said Park Tract, a distance of 361.29 feet more or less to
terminate at the westerly right-of-way line of Meadows Blvd.
Together with the right to permit any other person, firm or corporation to attach wires to any
facilities hereunder and lay cable and conduit within the easement and to operate the same for
communications purposes; the right of ingress and egress to said premises at all times; the right
to clear the land and keep it cleared of all trees, undergrowth and other obstructions within the
easement area; to trim and cut and keep trimmed and cut all dead, weak, leaning or dangerous
trees or limbs outside of the easement area which might interfere with or fall upon the lines or
systems of communications or power transmission or distribution; and further grants, to the full-
est extent the undersigned has the power to grant, if at all, the rights hereinabove granted on
the land heretofore described, over, along, under and across the roads· streets or highways ad-
joining or through said property.
