87-XXXA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CERTAIN
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE
STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AND THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach has entered into
numerous agreements with Seaboard Coast Lines regarding the
use of Seaboard Coast Lines' corridor through the city
limits; and
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of
Transportation is in the process of purchasing the
north-south rail corridor located in Palm Beach County
presently owned by CXST, the predecessor in interest to
Seaboard Coast Lines, and
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach wishes to continue
the agreements by approving the assignment of said
agreements to the State of Florida Department of
Transportation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO~ISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,":THATk

execute supplemental agreements approving to the assignment,
