A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
REGARDING DESIGNATION OF FUND BALANCE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on September 30, 1987, it is estimated that the
undesignated fund balance will be $2,714,054; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission wish to make specific
designation of portions of the fund balance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH:
Section 1. That $375,000 of the fund balance be designated
as a reserve for day care facility remodeling and expansion.
Section 2. That $1,000,000 of the undesignated fund balance be
designated for emergency and disaster response programs.
Section 3. That $100,000 of the undesignated fund balance be
reserved for legal costs for special court defense and actions.
Section 4. That the remaining funds continue to be in an
undesignated fund in the undesignated fund balance.
