87-PP RESOLUTION NO. 87-_Pp
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
REPEALING RESOLUTIONS 83-BB AND 83-CC;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Resolution 83-BB and Resolution 83-CC, adopted
by the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach on May 17,
1983, designated certain authority to then Acting Mayor of
the City of Boynton Beach and the Acting Secretary of the
Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Relief and Pension Trust
Fund, and the Municipal Police Retirement Fund,
respectively; and
W~RREAS, said provisions are no longer mandated by
state statute nor necessary for the proper financial
functioning of said Boards; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to repeal any implied
or expressed conflicts with legislative mandates contained
in Florida Statutes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Resolution Nos. 83-BB and 83-CC are
hereby repealed.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately.
