A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITYOF BOYNTON BEACH URGING THE
COUNTY COMMISSION TO FACILITATE INSTAL-
LATION OF AN EXPANDED TRAFFIC SIGNAL
CAPABILITY AT THE CORNER OF NW 22nd AVENUE
AND CONGRESS AVENUE.
WHEREAS, there are many citizens of Boynton Beach which feel a
left turn arrow sequence is necessary at the corner of NW 22nd Avenue and
Congress Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of Boynton Beach agrees with and
endorses this belief; and
WHEREAS, the City has officially requested Palm Beach County to
investigate and resolve the situation.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach
strongly urges the County Commission to review and facilitate the installa-
tion of such an expanded capacity in the traffic signal devices currently
located at the corner of NW 22nd Avenue and Congress Avenue, within the
corporate limits of Boynton Beach.
