AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, AMENDING SECTION 23A-3 OF THE CODIFIED
ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY, PERTAINING TO SEWER
CONNECTION CHARGES; PROVIDING FOR REPEALING
PROVISIONS, A SAVINGS CLAUSE, AUTHORITY TO
CODIFY, AN EFFECTI~ DATE AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OE BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That that portion of Section 22A-3 of the Codified
Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, pertaining to computation of sewer
connection charges, as established in Ordinance 67-6, effective June 1,
1967, is hereby amended to read:
"In addition to the rates set forth hereinabove, it is hereby
established a sewer connection charge which shall be levied
against all connections made to the system later than six
months after municipal sanitary sewer service becomes
available to individual properties in any given area of the
City, which charge shall be computed as follows:
For any ~" connection or less ~,, .... $100.00
For any connection exceeding . o $150.00
Such connection charge shall be paid to the Building Department
of the City in connection with and prior to the issuance of any
building permit on property affected by this charge, as set
forth hereinabove.
Section 2: Separability: Each of the provisions of this Ordinance
are separable, including word, clause, phrase, or sentence, and if any pro-
vision hereof shall be declared invalid, the remaining portion shall not be
affected but shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3: Repealing.. provisions: All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: Au?hority to Codify: Specific authority is hereby
granted to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in the City's existing Code.
Section 5: Effective Date: This Ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided by the charter and ordinances
of the City of Boyn~on Beach, Florida.
